Corporate Law Department Metrics 201: Measuring your Department’s Effectiveness

Recorded On: 05/09/2024

Back to Package

Corporate C-Suite executives have high expectations for their legal functions’ effectiveness, particularly when it comes to employee engagement and wellbeing.  For legal function leaders, these may not be key areas of measurement, while other areas related to the effectiveness of the department, such as providing quality legal advice, can easily be overlooked for measurement as they lie so close to the core of the department’s function.

This session will explore why metrics around the areas of focus for C-Suite leaders are so important.  We will also propose ways for legal function leaders to collect and report on key effectiveness metrics – including talent – that legal function leaders should be measuring and reporting regularly so their leaders can see the department’s alignment with key enterprise priorities.
