Lindsey White

Principal

Jackson Lewis

Lindsey White is an experienced litigator who represents management in employment cases in state and federal court, and before state, federal, and local administrative agencies. She represents a wide range of clients including nonprofits, health care institutions, government contractors, and insurance companies. She has successfully tried cases before juries.

Lindsey works closely with clients to develop strategies to address employment claims, including recommending and providing representation in mediation or settlement negotiations.

In addition to her litigation practice, she also advises companies on a wide range of personnel issues. Lindsey also provides employment training to management and employees.

Lindsey was previously a senior trial attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she litigated cases arising under Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Equal Pay Act. While at the EEOC, she was detailed as a senior attorney advisor/special assistant to Chair Charlotte Burrows.

Following law school graduation, Lindsey was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Patricia Minaldi in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. 

Richard Mrizek

Richard J. Mrizek is of counsel in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including class litigation, trials, government enforcement actions, and conducting internal investigations. Richard also provides clients with preventive advice and counseling, focused on finding practical solutions to complicated legal problems.  

Before coming to Jackson Lewis, Richard was a trial attorney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he led the government’s litigation efforts on numerous class and individual cases. His EEOC litigation involved racial discrimination in hiring, class harassment claims, disparate impact in criminal convictions, sexual harassment, class failure to accommodate claims, and disability discrimination. Richard first-chaired several trials with the EEOC, winning substantial verdicts for the government and has administered settlements of large class cases.

Richard has been a speaker at local and national conferences on issues involving federal anti-discrimination laws, including compliance under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
