Designed for legal department leaders, this session will focus on the vital connection between lawyer wellbeing and employee recruitment, retention and engagement. Using an interactive game show format, panelists will explore how fostering connection and prioritizing wellbeing leads to higher engagement, improved productivity, and greater team cohesion . . . while also reducing stress, thwarting burnout, and limiting turnover. Panelists will share pragmatic strategies for fostering their individual and teams’ wellbeing and building resilience within the context of Model Rules 1.1 Competence, 1.3 Diligence and 1.4 Communications.

Key Themes:

  1. Intentional Connection: Addressing the isolation in-house lawyers often experience, this session emphasizes building relationships as a pillar of wellness and ethical practice.
  2. Resilient Teams: Creating a culture of inclusion and support reduces burnout and fosters career longevity.
  3. Strategies are backed by data and empirical research
