Beyond Prompting (Part 1): An AI 101 Technical Primer for Product, Governance, & Executive Counsel (On Demand)

Beyond Prompting (Part 1): An AI 101 Technical Primer for Product, Governance, & Executive Counsel (On Demand)

Back by popular demand: the AI 101 technical primer series returns with a new name and updated content – while preserving the same foundational technical guidance previously delivered to ACC Foundation audiences. Designed for product, governance, and executive legal counsel, this presentation provides a practical, plain-English technical introduction to how modern AI systems actually work. Moving beyond surface-level generative AI use, the session explains core components of the AI tech stack, how AI tools are developed and deployed, and where legal, governance, and security risks emerge in real-world products. Participants will use this framework to more effectively identify risk, evaluate mitigation strategies, and prepare their organizations for responsible AI adoption. Parts 1 and 2 of Professor Robert Kang’s Beyond Prompting™  training series are designed as an integrated program. Attendees are encouraged to attend both sessions. No prior technical knowledge required.
