A strong, collaborative relationship between the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) is essential for effectively managing organizational risk in an era where cyber threats and regulatory pressures are constantly evolving. The CISO provides technical expertise on security architecture, threat landscapes, and incident response, while the CLO ensures that cybersecurity strategies align with legal obligations, regulatory requirements, and risk tolerance.
