With over 10 years of legal experience, I am currently driving forward the legal operations as the Deputy General Counsel at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin. My core competencies include legal guidance, contract negotiation, and organizational governance for multiple entities. At Goodwill, my mission aligns with empowering our team of over 5500 employees, ensuring compliance, and fostering community trust through ethical legal practices. In my role, I have expanded the legal department, defining new roles, recruiting talents, and managing our budget effectively. My responsibilities encompass overseeing the governance of our extensive network, which includes more than 70 retail locations. My skills in analyzing, negotiating, and drafting a wide array of contracts have been critical in advancing Goodwill's interests, from procurement to marketing. This expertise, coupled with my experience in teaching International Law and Contract Drafting, equips me to mentor our team and strengthen our legal framework.
Jennifer Reddien

Ms. Reddien is an accomplished professional with deep experience in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space in the legal industry. A former practicing litigator, she transitioned into her current area of expertise while serving as the executive director for the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms. In this role, Ms. Reddien helped drive sustainable institutional change at law firms. In addition to consulting with firms to identify diversity and inclusion issues, she also developed and executed strategic plans to address said issues and fulfill the organization's mission to help firms recruit, retain, and promote diverse attorneys. Ms. Reddien most recently served as the director of diversity and inclusion at Haynes and Boone, LLP, where she collaborated with firm leadership to integrate the firm's commitment to diversity and inclusion into all of its talent functions, including recruiting, professional development, and business development. Ms. Reddien maintained a thorough knowledge of emerging trends and best practices for the business community, monitored the progress of the firm's diversity by utilizing metrics and benchmarking, and led education efforts for both attorneys and professional staff regarding diversity and inclusion awareness and cross-cultural competency.
Ms. Reddien received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004. She also earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 and a B.A. in Sociology and French from Duke University in 1999.

Tanya A. Bovée is a principal in the Hartford, Connecticut, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Tanya represents employers in a wide range of issues related to employment law, bringing a practical approach that is focused on achieving clients’ goals and based on over 20 years of employment law experience.
Tanya advises employers in a wide range of industries, including life sciences, retail, automotive, manufacturing, and hospitality, on navigating myriad complex employment laws, including multi-state compliance, internal complaints, leaves, performance management, and terminations. She partners with companies around the country to develop diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. Tanya has a diversity and inclusion certificate from Cornell University and conducts customized diversity, inclusion, and bias workplace education sessions and has presented hundreds of in-house training sessions for executives, management, and employees regarding equal employment opportunity, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
Tanya’s practice also includes working with employers to comply with their affirmative action obligations, oversee the preparation of affirmative action plans, and defend compliance reviews. She also defends employers in federal and state courts and administrative agencies.
Tanya has been a board member for the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association for over 20 years and is a past president and current co-president. She regularly speaks about advancing diversity in the legal profession.
