Currently, I serve as the Vice President & Chief Counsel, Property Transactions for a large casino company catering to the hotel, entertainment, and food & beverage industries.

As a pragmatic and business-oriented generalist and deal leader in the corporate hospitality space, I have negotiated and finalized hundreds of high value agreements related to entertainment, attractions, special events, hotel development, and 40+ celebrity chef projects that contributed to the company breaking year over year marks since Covid and ultimately achieving the highest adjusted EBITDA on record in 2023.

• Oversee hospitality development for Caesars’ 50+ properties and lead negotiations for numerous large-scale projects, including the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Race, a reality show (Love Island) filmed in Las Vegas in 2020, 2 large digital advertising marquees on the Las Vegas Strip, and the development of Nobu restaurants and hotel towers across the country.

• Head lawyer for all entertainment matters enterprise-wide and recently worked side-by-side with the President of Entertainment and the President of Development & International Marketing on a multi-jurisdictional, nine figure agreement for the opening of three unique shows across the enterprise.

• Chief counsel for all company celebrity chef intellectual property license agreements (Gordon Ramsay, Martha Stewart, Giada, Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, Emeril, Rick Bayless, etc.) on both a national and international level, including highest-grossing restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip.

• Helped create and implement a company-wide COVID payment deferral/abatement program for our third-party partners.

• Negotiated crypto sponsorship agreement for the naming rights of a theater on the Las Vegas Strip.

• Lead counsel for all hotel brand licensing projects, including Caesars’ first non-gaming hotel in the United States located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

• Provide legal guidance to procurement/sourcing, conventions, and retail operations company-wide.

• Counsel property executives on operational issues, regulatory compliance, and union obligations.

• Advisor to national partnerships with Starbucks, Gordon Ramsay, and Spiegelworld.

• 6+ years of extensive commercial, construction, and civil litigation experience before going in-house.

Kimberly Lerman

Kimberly Lerman is a Talent Manager with Lawyers On Demand, a Consilio company. In that role she matches Consilio’s attorneys with clients who have needs for contract attorney help in a variety of types of positions at law firms, and also in corporate legal departments and government agencies.

Prior to the start of her career in recruiting in 2015, Kimberly spent 15 years practicing law in Atlanta, and she was involved in hiring attorneys throughout that time. In her last legal role she served as Vice President & Associate General Counsel for a large company in Atlanta. In addition to seven years of in-house experience, Kimberly also worked as a litigation associate at local law firms, including several years at both King & Spalding and Eversheds Sutherland. Throughout her law firm tenure Kimberly was involved with interviewing law students and lawyers at job fairs, on-campus interviews, and onsite interviews. She also was a member of the Hiring Committee at Eversheds Sutherland from 2005 – 2007.

Kimberly currently serves as Co-Chair of the Duke Atlanta Women’s Forum, and is a Member of the Duke Law Atlanta Board. She also volunteers with Emory Connects as a speaker and a mentor for current Emory students considering a career in law. When not working or volunteering her time, Kimberly enjoys swimming, biking and running, having completed 21 Ironman® triathlons. She is also an avid scuba diver and enjoys standup paddleboarding, nature photography (including underwater photography), hiking, yoga, and cooking.
