Russell Hunter is Compliance Counsel at Bauer Media Group and Head of Compliance for its Outdoor business. He leads compliance and business ethics across nine European markets, designing and implementing risk-based programmes covering areas including economic crime, competition law, sanctions, third-party risk and whistleblowing. A key aspect of his role is turning complex legal requirements into practical policies, controls and training that work across different businesses and cultures.

He was previously Head of Compliance for Clear Channel’s European business and Senior Competition Counsel at BT Group, and qualified as a solicitor with Clifford Chance. Russell is Co-Chair of ACC Europe’s ESG Working Group, and previously served as ACC’s UK Country Representative.
