Emily Collins is a lawyer who has been solving eDiscovery and information governance problems for over 17 years. Having worked as outside counsel, in-house counsel, and a consultant in the service provider space, Emily has a uniquely well-rounded view of the world of eDiscovery, enabling her to understand the perspectives of all stakeholders in a particular project or issue. Emily’s professional passion is for solving the riddles and puzzles put forth daily by this rapidly evolving field and collaborating with fellow eDiscovery practitioners to find the unique answer to each. She also enjoys speaking and writing about these war stories. Emily received my law degree from Indiana University's Maurer School of Law. Prior to that, she studied history, political science, and Russian language, graduating summa cum laude from Indiana University. Currently, I serve as the Director of Information Governance & Business Intake at Robinson & Cole LLP, an AmLaw200 law firm. Additionally, I am the Chair on the ARMA International Board of Directors, a certified information governance professional (IGP) and officer (CIGO).
In my spare time, I host an innovative podcast, InfoGov Hot Seat, which now boasts over 6k YouTube subscribers and 100k views. In each episode, I engage in candid conversations with practitioners, consultants, and solution providers on hot topics in the information governance field. Our discussions provide valuable insights and practical advice on managing information assets while navigating legal and regulatory challenges.
My experience as a practitioner, consultant, and solution provider within the information governance industry allows me to provide a unique perspective on numerous emerging industry trends. Marla Crawford brings over 30 years’ expertise to her role as general counsel of Cimplifi. She is a respected attorney, strategic advisor, and thought leader who speaks regularly on legal technology, electronic discovery, and information governance issues. Marla spent 22 years practicing law at the prestigious international firm, Jones Day, specializing in the discovery phase of litigation. She also served as associate general counsel for Goldman Sachs for 11 years where she led the firm’s global eDiscovery practice and focused on complex commercial and securities litigation and regulatory investigations. Marla’s expertise also includes advising on issues relating to information governance as well as the deployment of new technologies. Marla earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University, graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor, and is licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
Julie Heller
Former Vice President, Knowledge Management and Information Governance

Julie Heller is a former Vice President in the AIG Office of the General Counsel’s Global Legal Operations group and head of Legal Knowledge Management & Information Governance. She is a Certified Information Governance Officer and co-chair of the ACC Legal Operations eDiscovery & Information Governance interest group. She focuses on developing and implementing cross-functional strategy and best practices for information lifecycle management, content management, taxonomy development and classification, legal hold, records retention, data preservation and legacy data disposition processes. Julie joined AIG in 2012 and was initially responsible for building and leading the eDiscovery advisory and vendor management program. She served as the President of AIG’s New York Region Women & Allies Employee Resource Group and is a frequent speaker on information governance and diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.
Julie has more than 25 years of eDiscovery, information management, legal technology and project management experience. She previously worked at Epiq as well as Baker Hostetler LLP, Proskauer Rose LLP, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and White & Case LLP in a variety of eDiscovery project management and legal technology management roles. She holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.S. from Columbia University. Before embarking on a career in legal technology and operations, Julie worked as a clinical social worker providing therapy and supportive services to individuals and groups in Connecticut and New York City.

Jay Stampfl

Jay Stampfl is a Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Alliant Cyber. In his role, he has national oversight of the firm’s cyber insurance and security advisory offerings.
Prior to his current position, Jay was the North America Revenue Leader and Member of the Cyber Executive Team at Aon Corporation. He was responsible for overall revenue growth and played a critical role in the integration of Stroz Friedberg, a cybersecurity services firm, acquired by Aon in 2016. Before that he worked as a Senior Director at FTI Consulting, leading Business Development for the East Region for the technology practice, with a focus on forensic investigations and regulatory matters.
Jay regularly contributes to trade publications and is often invited to lend his expertise on industry panel discussions.
Jay received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Business Management from Florida Atlantic University.

Paul Lewis is the Founder and CEO of Calamu, a cyber security company that eliminates the risk of a data breach or ransomware attack. Calamu is a venture-backed company, and received funding from Insight Partners and Dell Technologies Capital. Prior to Calamu, he was the Founder and CEO of PG Lewis LLC, a cyber security and data forensics company that was strategically acquired by Robert Half International (NYSE:RHI), and was also the Founder and CEO of MC2, a data security company that was strategically acquired by Volt Information Sciences (NYSE:VOL). Lewis is the past president of The Entrepreneurs Organization and enjoys mentoring future leaders. He and his wife have four children and reside in Hunterdon County, NJ.
Lewis has led global organizations in Data Forensics, Cyber Security, Digital Information Security, and Compliance Technology. He has advised many global corporations, The White House, the SEC, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, The United States Federal Rules Committee, The United States Department of Justice, and the NY State Department of Financial Services on emerging trends in cyber and information security. He is also a contributor to the NIST Cybersecurity Practice Guide - Special Publication 1800-4, the NY Department of Financial Services Cyber Security Requirements 23 NYCRR 500, and the United States Federal Rules on electronically stored information (ESI). He has been granted numerous patents to advance data privacy and protection and is a court-appointed expert in cyber security and incident response.
Seth Eichenholtz

Seth Eichenholtz is the Director of the Data Security Architecture team at Mastercard. He focuses on developing enterprise data security standards and requirements for data across the known, shadow, and regulated spectrum (including both on-prem and cloud). Responsibilities include the discovery, encryption, logging, loss prevention, retention, access, authentication, and authorization for data stores that contain customer and other sensitive information to support real-time data detection and response services for the organization.
Seth has previously led both Mastercard's eDiscovery and Insider Threat teams since 2016. Prior to joining Mastercard, Seth spent over five years as Vice President, eDiscovery Manager for Swiss Re. During his time at Swiss Re, Seth focused on managing all facets of eDiscovery for matters that encompassed claims-based disputes, litigation, regulatory and investigative matters for all Swiss Re entities globally. Seth has extensive experience in drafting and managing legal holds, establishing collection, processing, culling and data transfer strategies and processes. He is a noted expert in internal investigations and processes, and has supervised various special projects involving Information Governance, including data dispositions, and liaising with several business units regarding key initiatives (including privacy, data protection and related best practices).
Seth started his career as a tax attorney with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and has extensive litigation and investigation experience managing and providing computer forensic and eDiscovery services since 2000.
Seth enjoys spending as much time as possible with his three teenage sons, his lovely wife, and when not working, can usually be found in the weight room or on the ski slopes.
