Roopesh is a commerce and law graduate. He is also a qualified Company Secretary and Cost & Management Accountant. He has 25 years’ experience advising businesses in Legal, Compliance, Corporate Governance and Taxation matters in his role as General Counsel with several reputed companies like Hitachi, Daikin, Menarini, Lloyd, SPL etc. in Consumer Durables, Pharma, Oil and Gas, Construction and Finance sectors. He has wide experience working with Indian entrepreneurs and MNC’s engaged in Manufacturing as well as Services sectors.

Roopesh is currently working with a BSE NSE listed and American-Japanese Joint Venture in Indoor Air Quality viz., Johnson Controls Hitachi Air Conditioning as its General Counsel, and designated as Deputy Vice President – Legal & Secretarial. He is based in Ahmedabad.

Roopesh is an experienced Legal professional with a demonstrated history of successful partnerships with businesses he has served with his skills in Contract Management, Drafting, Review & Negotiation, Commercial Litigation, Statutory Compliances, Corporate Secretarial, Corporate Governance, ESG, Risk Management and Joint Venture relationship management.

Rabindra Jhunjhunwala is a Partner and a senior member in the Corporate & Commercial Practice Group in the Mumbai office. He started with the Firm in its Kolkata office in 1990 and co-founded the Mumbai office in 2001.

Rabindra heads the Firm's IBA, France desk and Germany desk initiatives. He also sits Committee as Conference Coordinator Asia Pacific of the Corporate and M&A Law Committee. He has been appointed Counselor to the President, Union Internationale des Avocats. He is a Patron member of The Bar Association of India.

His practice spans a range of areas, including domestic and cross border M&A, PE investment, transaction documentation work and advises his clients regularly on all aspects of foreign investments (both inbound and outbound) and regulatory approvals. He has advised several multinationals and Indian companies on complex and big-ticket M&A transactions.

Swathy Ramanath is a Partner in the Firm’s Energy, Infrastructure & Resources and Corporate & Commercial practice in the Bengaluru office. Her primary sectors of focus in the Energy, Infrastructure & Resources space are power (conventional and non-conventional), airports, urban rail and infrastructure.

Swathy also focusses on India entry and establishment of global capability centres in India.

Her expertise covers mergers & acquisitions, project and construction contracts, public concessions and commercial contracts.
