Jacquelyne Belcastro is the Vice President and Head of Legal for the North American operations of Norsk Hydro ASA, based in Oslo, Norway. Norsk Hydro ASA (OSE: NHY) was founded in 1905 and is a leading aluminum and energy company with 32,000 employees in more than 140 locations and 42 countries. The largest business is Extrusion North America, which has 6,000 employees, 21 manufacturing facilities, and $2.6 billion in annual revenues.
Ms. Belcastro earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Ms. Belcastro is the Vice Chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel Law Department Management Network and a key member of the Executive Committee of North Shore General Counsel Association, as well as a former Board Member and Program Chair of the ACC Chicago Chapter. Recognized as one of the 2019 Crain’s Chicago Business Notable Women in Manufacturing, Ms. Belcastro has proven executive leadership skills to develop and lead effective business-focused legal and compliance functions, as well as to promote cultural change to champion corporate governance, ethics, and integrity.
