The EU AI Act is moving from a regulatory framework to an operational reality for companies using and developing AI. This program will give in-house counsel a practical overview of the Act’s key requirements, risk classifications, implementation timeline, and potential reach beyond Europe.

We’ll then move from the law to the practical challenges of putting it into practice. Drawing on OnBoard’s experience building AI into a platform that handles sensitive business information, we’ll discuss how a lean legal team can help a company move quickly on AI while navigating evolving global requirements, product and data governance, contracting issues, and customer expectations. The discussion will focus on practical approaches and lessons that small legal departments can apply as their own organizations expand their use of AI.
