Generative AI is reshaping how lawyers research, draft, and advise, and reshaping the ethics rules along with it. This webinar gives in-house counsel a practical grounding in the evolving ethical duties triggered by AI use, including competence, client communication, confidentiality (including privilege and AI meeting assistants), candor, and the surge in AI-hallucination sanctions, and supervisory obligations over lawyers and nonlawyers. The program also covers emerging issues in AI evidence, expert witness use of AI, and judicial/arbitral use of AI tools, closing with a practical framework for building AI governance guardrails, from vendor oversight and AI inventories to incident response and board-level accountability. Attendees will leave with a clear picture of where legal ethics is heading as AI moves from individual tool use to enterprise governance.
